The guide tells me where to find yarrow flower. It seems Migo want something called a yarrow flower. It was going well exploring the island until some guy named Migo decided to have armour on that none of my characters could pierce. I have no idea where to go or what I’m doing.ĭo I pick up all the items? Only some items? How does the material combining work? Crafting? Well I’m just winging it for now. Not to be negative, but here’s where I’m hung up this time. ![]() ![]() Probably my third or fourth attempt to try this, once again three hours in, once again wanting to drop it. ![]() But limiting combat? I don't really get that, there's quite a bit of freedom to do things your way and what makes things interesting is how easy it is to perform actions that have negative consequences on your party in ways you maybe didn't expect and that's in large part to how the spells interact with each other. The quests are written in a way that does not explain exactly what to do or where to go, it gives you hints and you have to work out a solution.īoth DOS games do have problems, the first game does have problems with the writing, lore and itemization, the second game fixes the writing quite a bit, but it's not why I play that game. The world is very interactable, there are a lot of things you can pick up in the game world, there are a lot of secrets, things you're very unlikely to find on your first playthrough. First, the combat is top tier, I really don't understand the criticism of it being extremely limiting but I haven't played Tactics Ogre or FF Tactics but there are fights on Tactician difficulty that I still remember years later, quite vividly.
